Now, Microsoft clarifies that Internet Explorer 11 will be "permanently disabled on certain versions of Windows 10" on Februthrough a Microsoft Edge update. Microsoft told customers at the time that a Windows Update would disable the classic web browser eventually. In fact, customers could still run Internet Explorer.
